The North Carolina Poor Peoples’ Campaign will partner with Repairers of the Breach for a statewide tour, followed by a march to Raleigh.
The “Love Forward Together Mobilization Tour” will focus on six cities: Durham (Feb 1), Asheville (Feb 2), Greensboro (Feb 4), Fayetteville (Feb 5), Greenville (Feb 6), and Rocky Mount (Feb 6). RSVP here.
The “This Is Our Selma! — Wilson-to-Raleigh Moral March” will begin on February 11 in Wilson and continue 9:00am – 1:00pm each day through February 13. On February 14, the march will reach Raleigh with a Mass People’s Assembly Moral March and Mobilization. The march and assembly will raise the issues of voting rights, living wages, poverty, immigration, religious nationalism, public education, healthcare, militarism, and the environment. RSVP here.
