Do you long for local, county, state, and national governments that work with and are authentically guided by the voice and wisdom of community?

Are you a community leader interested in running for elected office, running a campaign, and/or learning how to lead your community to influence public systems?

If YES is your resounding answer, then sign up for a powerful community training event on Saturday June 28th with The Campaign School at Yale University (TCSY) at Asheville Buncombe Institute of Parity Achievement, Commercial Park, 220 Continuum Drive, Fletcher, NC 28732.

In one day you will learn all of the components necessary to launch yourself as a community leader or begin a political career.  These components include:

  • Making the Decision to Run for Office, Run a Campaign, Impact Your Community
  • Finding Your Voice, Making It Matter
  • Effective Networking Techniques

The goal of this program is to ignite change-makers in communities most impacted by systemic poverty and racism to build power for policy advocacy, increase voter turnout, and increase the number of BIPOC, LGBTQIA, low-wealth and other impacted individuals in elected and appointed office.

Individuals who complete the training will be eligible to participate in quarterly virtual “Think Tank” sessions focusing on continued learning and support for putting your new knowledge and skills into action.  Individuals who participate in the “Think Tank” sessions will be eligible to apply to be sponsored for The Campaign School at Yale’s 5-day Summer Program in June 2026.

It is the people that built this country – let it be the people that lead it too!
